Why did you choose to be a cocktail barman ?
My boyfriend showed me the cocktail world, he was the main reason why I started to mix, shake and serve cocktails.
How was your beginning in this world? Do you remember your first cocktail ?
It all started in my island, there, the sun and the beach invite you to taste a good cocktail any day all along the year. The first one I made was a mojito, I remember it like it was yesterday…
An advice to prepare the best #SpanishGinTonic, where do you think the key is?
Without any doubt, the essence of a good #SpanishGintonic is in the gin. The perfect gin tonic for me has to have a unique taste accompanied by a critic twist. On the other hand, I think the key has always been in taking it easy and getting rid of complex drinks.
What’s the ingredient that should always be in a cocktail bar?
Lime should always be there,as well as ice and the cocktail maker.
Have you got any favourite tool? We mean, an instrument that you always carry with you…
The opener is the barman’s most useful weapon. And the cocktail maker, obviously.
Any advice to a new barman?
My advice is not to stop learning to complement all the knowledge with the experience. And the most important thing: knowing how to learn from the great professionals of this sector.
